To this world that we've known, a child will be born
A bond has been made that cannnot be torn
Let this brave hearted woman, and her innocent child
Find all of the treasures you have in store
May this prayer find her in peace
For in her loving arms will a beautiful child lay asleep
She whispers in her ear, a sacred lullabye of love for her
The pains of growing up, I know you feel it for two
And it's harder to figure out what's best to do
But even through the dark, I know you'll follow your heart
And never let harm touch your loved one
May this prayer find her in peace
For in her loving arms will a beautiful child lay asleep
She whispers in her ear, a sacred lullabye of love for her
May the child be as beautiful as her mother.

Although this sounds "clearer" and "crispier" than the original, the raw feel is lost.
Also, could you please post the chords ? I'm dying to play this myself. Thanks!
Ummm this IS the original my friend.... RAW feel on a waltz? I don't think so....
You're mistaken.
This is the original - http://www.kompoz.com/compose-collaborate/home.track.project?trackId=1338
This ( can't really point to a right track, it's in Tracks > Brushes & Quartet ) is the version with shuffle drums and strings similar to version we can hear on this site, but the vocals and the guitar is still from original recording - http://www.indabamusic.com/sessions/416757481/817
Well you got me there. I didn't know Tad had posted the song there. This version was done with his blessing. Haven't heard from him since he moved to Japan.
If you could reach him he'd be the one to give you the chords...
Well, there's also Marc, who, I suppose, got the chords so he could play them :)
