Goddess & The Sun King (Pop Rock)

Credits:
The Moose Lewis Band

I see a crescent moon – split the azure sky
Feel the creeping cool – as it brings the night
But this is not the end – it’s just a begin (ning)
To the cycle of love – from the Goddess above

You’ll see the World in her eyes – feel the wind in Her sighs
With Her fire and heat – She’ll knock you right off your feet
And you won’t know where to turn – when you’re starting to burn
But you will know who you are – when you swing on her star

She is the Goddess above; I am the Sun King of Love
I bring Her passion and grace; I put that smile on your face
So put your hands in the air and throw your clothes everywhere
Cause now you’re feeling that thing; Goddess and the Sun King

You can choose to be – happy, you can be free
You be you, I’ll be me – together sailing away
I got this old guitar – you got the moon in a jar
Intoxicatingly free – Goddess and the Sun King

Why don’t we see if we – can find a place to be
Where the Earth meets the Sky – where the Sun meets the Sea
Where we can be alone – you could sit on my throne
Together we will be – Goddess and the Sun King

I see a crescent moon – split the azure sky
Feel the creeping cool – as it brings the night
But this is not the end – it’s just a begin (ning)
For you and me – Goddess and The Sun King

Lookout! The Sun King’s going down

Don't know if this belongs in the same genre as "Not Wrong Or Right Moose". I'll probably label this as "Pop-Rock". Very nice work!

I gotta edit the genre menu and add zydeco of the "Retrospective".

You are now subscribed to the jukebox Moose. Check out the comments on this song's page. The link to this page is at the BOTTOM of this e-mail. This is an older blog and blogger changed things so it's slightly different. Links at the bottom on this one. I think.

Ooops nope same as other blog. Link at top of e-mails. LOL

LOL - no, not the same genre as NWOR; but these sites don't allow you to post as a variety musician.

It is one of my 'problems'... I genuinely write/perform too many different styles to be classified; and some listeners have an issue with that. Which is why I'm currently focusing on Rock and Blues for VM.

Thanks!

Reassigned as "Pop Rock". Notice title. Done deal!
