How I wish I could fall asleep
And wake again in another day
But my eyes are open wide and I see
Our world is changing the damage done
Some say the time is growing short and
I don’t know if I can stay here
Looking back at the gift we had
Life in balance a miracle.
How could we let it slip away?
Still ignoring the warning signs
What will be left behind
After the Politics and Greed?
How I wish it was all a dream
This haunting omen of suffering
But my ears will not be fooled and I hear
Talk of science and storms to come
They say our time is growing short and
I don’t know if we can stay here
Looking back at the gift we had
Life in balance a miracle.
How could we let it slip away?
Still ignoring the warning signs
What will be left behind
After the Politics and Greed?

Kudos all around on this one guys! Sean and Moose making great music together at F-Jam Studios....
Yeah the cymbals addition fits nicely as I had hoped it would Moose! Top notch work, and another great addition to the playlists! Hope to hear many more for you guys!
Check and make sure we got the credits right ok? Well done bros!
Many thanks!
Your comment on the accent crashes were spot on. When I went back and listened to see what you were talking about, it was an instant headslap. Doh!
No man is an island... but some do Rock!
BTW - that's not an organ... it's seven tracks of nose harp mixed through a harmonizer; then piped through a Leslie cabinet while recording it with a mic in a bucket. You think it sounds like an organ? Cewl!
*ahem... jus' kiddin' - imaidiot! /;)*
Hey - anything's possible on F-Jam, eh?
Moose-
I called it an organ, because that is what Sean called it in a PM he sent me yesterday. So should I change that to "nosehearp" on the credits? What exactly is a "noseharp"?
Ya done good on this one Moose! Sean seems to be tickled pink with your work, and so he should be...
People make any collab site work, not some blog... You guys ARE F-Jam Studios. It's plural, because each person has their own studio and it hooks up via F-Jam. The blog system is cool, and works nicely for us, but this is about people, and art. You guys made this happen, not F-Jam. F-Jam is merely the vehichle... Power to the people, and yes along with that F-Jam....
Been a pleasure watching you guys work on this...
I thought the cymbals helped but it was pretty damned good without them. It could have gone either way really. Just a drummer's slant. Just like you go to things as a guitarist, I listen to drums and bass first on a track. Really it was good before. Adding them is like icing... Nice work man!
LOL - for anyone interested in pursuing Nose Harp, you lay a finger on one hand aside your nose; close your mouth; hum through your nose while thumbing or whacking it with a finger from your other hand for rhythmic effect - resulting in a lovely tone that will make your underwear curl.
Snork!
If you've ever listened to an old song by Jefferson Airplane called 'Lather', you've heard a Nose Harp solo.
Sounds a little like an insect singing.

Hahahahaha!
Just be sure to have your nose clean before you start or it could be messy! And wash your hands afterwards! LOL
Also check the mic for stragglers afterwards.... OMG!
LOL Hey if it works.....
:-P
Credits ammended... hehe
I just went in and looked at the separates. It is organ... You're messing with me... hehehe
Sheesh!
Thaaaat's Right! /;) LMAO...
(although the bit about JA's 'Lather' is indeed Nose Harp at its finest)
Welllllll Shhhhhhhi (Moooooz Burger!) LOL
BS, now becomes Moooz Shi....
Heheh I can see I'm gonna have to watch you 'round the microphone...
Had me going there for a min.....

I found this rare footage of a young Moose honing his nose harp skills:

That's because you were not subscribed to the jukebox syndication. You are now.
There are several different subscrition types hre at F-Jam. You have full control over them too. You can join, subscribe, unsubscribe, or change how you are subscribed. Look for the yellow menu just below the shoutbox where you said you read about these comments...
When he first spoke of this "nose harp", (and I was taking him seriously), this is what I thought he was talking about:

Actually, this would be a traditional rendering of the Nose Harp:

A fine, but seemingly forgotten instrument. /;)
The others are simply goobers playing harmonica with their noses. Yech!
Ahhhh... I see you did find the true instrument, Sean - and it appears to have taken hold with a younger audience.
The quality and depth of traditional musical stylings may yet persevere!
RFLMAO
LOL....either that or the internet has caused some form of mass insanity that seems to be spreading rapidly
Moose, yer still listed as playin nose harp:)
